People Operations Manager

SundaySky is leading the video revolution. Our platform unleashes the power of video for every organization by making it easier to produce, distribute, and optimize at scale. We live in a digital-first world, where video is the preferred way to consume content. However, organizations fail to leverage video as a strategic communication medium because it's too costly to create, manage, and scale. Video has historically required specialized skill-sets, custom assets, lots of time and money to produce, and unfortunately, it comes with a short shelf-life.

SundaySky's People Team is looking for a People Operations Manager passionate about creating a people-first employee experience.

This role will support the People Partners across various platforms, data systems, employee relations, and employee experience. We are looking for someone with prior experience within a People Team passionate about inspiring change and having a tangible impact. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is not only looking to contribute to SundaySky's overall growth but to join a highly collaborative team as well!

Responsibilities


  • Employee Relations: Provide support with maintaining a People First onboarding and offboarding experience, answer employee questions.
  • People Operations Tools and Systems: Support the People Team in an HRIS transition, including data and communication ownership
  • Create and facilitate team building, educational, and engagement opportunities.
  • People Team Partnership: Partner with members of the People Team to support programs that overlap and share united goals
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Develop relationships with leaders across the organization to enable better collaboration with People Operations and continue building trust.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and assist team members in navigating employment resources ‍
  • Database Management: Maintaining employee files, performing regular system audits, and ensuring that employees are provided with proper status change documentation.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Strong communication both verbally and written with empathy and clarity
  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role
  • Desire to learn and develop in a People First culture
  • Self-motivated and effective time management skills for setting own schedule in a remote environment
  • Proven ability to execute in high growth, fast-changing environment
  • Strong sense of ownership; driving initiatives from inception to completion
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate with other functional leaders and executives
