About the role: 

SundaySky is seeking an experienced Product Marketing manager to ensure that our innovative video platform reaches its full potential. You will own all aspects of product marketing for key growth capabilities within the SundaySky Video Platform – from product definition and positioning to sales enablement and market launches. You will work very closely with our product and development teams to expand the scope and capabilities of our video platform, with extensive cross-functional collaboration across the organization — from Sales and Marketing to Product Management and Customer Success.

The successful candidate is a high-energy go-getter and collaborative partner, adapting with changing requirements of the teams and the fast-paced environment of our business.

Responsibilities


  • Define and develop messaging that effectively communicates – both internally and externally – product vision, positioning, key value propositions, and market differentiation for the SundaySky Video Platform
  • Collaborate with the product team to craft vertical and horizontal GTM strategies that packages that deliver SundaySky’s platform to the market
  • Provide strong product marketing representation across the organization, bridging multiple teams and activities to drive end-to-end discipline – from product definition to operationalizing to launch
  • Partner with the product team and offer input to determine product direction and requirements, driven by market research and customer insights
  • Be the internal market expert on marketing sizing and segmentation; target buyer personas, their journey maps and buying criteria; the competition (and how to crush them)
  • Lead sales enablement efforts by communicating a consistent and compelling value proposition to field teams and ramp them as effective sellers by creating sales readiness materials, tools, and training programs
  • Produce thought leadership and product-related materials to support PR, inbound marketing, and selling efforts at various stages of the buying cycle
  • Assist field team in meetings and on calls where prospects require deeper product education

Requirements


  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in media/adtech industry with at least 2 years in a field-facing role
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of launching products to the market and successful adoption; experience in building new market categories and generating industry demand – a plus
  • Creative strategist with the ability to come up with concise and compelling marketing messages and out-of-the-box ideas
  • Excellent all-around communicator and natural-born storyteller 
  • Critical thinker that is analytically inclined, understands what data means and how to apply it to identify opportunities and solve problems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and high-energy personality that thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • An amazing collaborator and team player that is highly communicative, resourceful and independent, while being able to enlist the support of others
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and to build strong relationships at executive and field levels as well as facilitate cross-organizational alignment with marketing and sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
